I used this video of FDR's "Four Freedoms" speech as a primary source. In the video, FDR explains why the Four Freedoms is necessary. He backs up his decisions to aid the British with saying that America should be helping countries that share our American values. It helped me better understand how Roosevelt convinced Congress to allow this to pass and simply the Neutrality Act .

This primary source of the Lend Lease Act helped me better understand what America did after the Four Freedoms. The Lend Lease Act helped me understand that it ended the Neutrality Act. It showed me that America was completely aiding the British at that point with no price tag

This primary source is a photograph of Roosevelt and Churchill at the signing of the Atlantic Charter. This source helped me understand the social vibe better. It showed me that even though America and the British were just allies, they did have positive feelings towards each other and could call each other friends. That is seen in the way both leaders in the picture act towards each other.
